BRIDLE YOUR TONGUE

PRAYER POINT
- Pray that your tongue will not lead you to hell.
- Pray that your tongue will be sanctified for the glory of God.

BIBLE PASSAGE
James 3:1-12

"For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison." _James 3:7-8

1.) Distinguish between the tongue of the righteous and the tongue of the wicked.
2.) What are the possible consequences of having an evil tongue?

SUMMARY
It is dangerous to have an unbridled tongue.
Since the outcome of unbridled tongue is destruction, the user of such tongue should surrender it to the fire of the Holy Spirit to change it for a new one.
