A boy goes in the woods and gets bitten by a dangerous snake. So his friends do the unthinkable.
I'm speechless at 6:14... 😃 SUBSCRIBE ► http://sub2.omele.to Filmmaker Tim Hyten tells the story of four boys, who find their friendship tested when one is bitten by a snake. Dylan and Tyler see a snake and wonder if it's poisonous. Cole tells them it's harmless. As they try to catch it, Xavier jumps out and kills it with a machete. He tells them they need to find some real snakes. Dylan is upset and starts to bury it. Suddenly, a red-and-black snake appears and bites him. The boys are frantic. Dylan and Tyler describe the snake to Cole and he looks it up. If the tail is black, Dylan is fine. But if it's red, it's the Black Widowmaker and the venom will kill him in less than 10 minutes. Xavier tries to slow down the venom with a tourniquet. Then, Tyler tries to suck the venom from the leg. Dylan tries to stay calm. There's no time to go back to camp and tell the adults. Xavier has an idea and grabs the machete. Tyler and Cole tell him to stop, but Xavier insists there's no better option. Dylan starts screaming -- he refuses to chop off his leg. Xavier reasons if they do nothing, Dylan will die. Cole lists a bunch of reasons Dylan could survive, but Xavier insists it's unlikely. They leave the decision to Dylan -- they can either take him back to camp and there's a good choice he'll die, or they can chop off his leg. Dylan tells them to chop it off. They tells them it's a good choice. Xavier grabs the machete and Tyler tells him a little higher -- just to be safe. As he raises his arms, Cole tells him to swing with his eyes open so he doesn't miss. At the last moment, Xavier says he can't do it. Tyler tells him to man up and chop off the leg. He just can't, so Tyler switches places with him. Tyler aims and raises his arms as Xavier holds Dylan down. Then, Dylan sees the snake with a black tail -- it's not poisonous. But before he can tell them, Tyler begins to swing down. Used with permission from Tim Hyten.
