I've Hated Myself For My Past: God's Love Is Greater

I had some breakthrough today at church regarding God's love for me despite me having disgust toward myself for the sins I had committed before I came to Christ. We are to deny our self, we are to "hate our self" in COMPARISON to how much we love Jesus (in the same way Christ calls us to "hate" mother and father), but we are not called to continue to condemn ourselves or despise ourselves for sins God has already removed from us.
