- Punctuality: you would have thought that during this season where the weather is hot and we had our night vigil this week too... you would thought that everyone would be too weak to come in to church. But no! We are not like that! Our God has moved so mightily in our lives that we still came in today but not just came in, but punctual! This is amazing ... more and more Grace and Virtues to you in Jesus' name. Amen
- Temperature: These days have been hot! And we normally have problems especially during summer time with the loud noise that comes from the church. It seems like during summer time, sound travels far and fast and irritability peaks up among the neighbours. However, today, we managed to regulate the temperature of the church to be cool enough without opening the windows. We had 3 air conditioners and 1 fan plus plenty of cold drinks to drink if necesssry on and this made a whole lot of difference in the church. Daddy God will keep your life cool and calm every storm in Jesus' name.
- Full Choir: today was totally unexpected. Wow! You mean we have talents in the church like this? I thought it was only me and Aaron but when the beautiful Adeoti came in today, today we had our band. Next, we need to start considering guitar 🎸 and saxophone 🎷 and trumpets 🎺. God will provide and grow this choir as HE always has in Jesus' name. Amen
- Sound Check: so it is summer and sound travels very fast during the summer. However, today, we managed to reach an optimum sound with a e windows shut. The sound inside was booming without the prospect of it disturbing anyone else. To the sound guy, we thank you. And well done 👍🏽 everyone one for being so cooperative. Lots of blessings to you in Jesus' name. Amen
- Timer On Projector Display: the wonderful and beautiful Dideoluwa put on the projected screen the timer today. I thought she didn't read this blog initially, but this is wonderful. Thank you for helping to make the church accountable to the time. God will put people who are going keep you in check and not drag you to the pit in Jesus' name.
5 THINGS TO IMPROVE
- Table By Fire Entrace: Everyone has been busy. Juggling their personal lives with church lives and you would think that we would be faint or burnt out by now but that is not the case. This ties in with Point 2. God is rewarding us for all our responsibilites and if we can remove the table by the way of the fire entrace, then no impromptu health and safety investigator would sue us in the event of a fire. Additionally, we would not be giving the devil any grounds.
- Rota/ System of Task Delegation: We have an amazing synergising concurrent pattern of working in RCCGPAL where the welfare department brings food out before church ends, the memebers know their own transport logistics etc and if we employ and integrate a common manager/ platform for delegating tasks to ourselves, this would be a better plus and advantage to our already wonderful concurrent pattern of working.
- Count-Down/ Timekeeping: Thank you very much Dide, our Projectionist. I thought that you would not have gotten the idea from the last constructive criticism I gave but you did. You put a timer on the projector display for the person on the pulpit to be away of time. Thank you and if you can use a cute, non-intrusive sound alarm too to alert those on the pulpit in a countdown (different from a timer), then you can be a wonderful faciliatator to timekeeping in the church. - Departmental Rehearsals Accountability (DRA): I love our many Departments. We are doing all that we can to bring about virtuous quality in all that we do. God bless you all and if we can make sure our different departments can be accountable to the pastor to show our rehearsals, then this would be wonderful as this will, although difficult but it can be done, reinforce discipline in the church. God bless you again once more.
- After Church Music: The church today was wonderful. Dideoluwa, after sensing the vibe of the church's activities after church today put a solemn music in the background and if Dide can build a library on divers library on the church's laptop, then we can enjoy more music, diverse kinds of musics at the end of church. Thank you very much for your valuable work to the church :)
